Mafia Wars Job Basics
Focusing on doin’ the Mafia Wars job is the safest and fastest way to level up fast. Jobs give you a nice rounded game development, too – you get experience, money, and loot plus the skill point every time you “master” a given job and job tier.
The loot will help you equip you growing mafia (plus you’ll sometimes get special items for collections in the loot drop to sweeten the deal). The money helps you upkeep your growing mafia. It’s all good.
As you began Mafia Wars at level one – right after you finished that first demo job – you got deposited in the Street Thug tier. It is the first set of Mafia Wars job for beginners.
Are you tired of learning Mafia Wars strategy the hard way? Got holes in your Mafia Wars pockets and barely limping through a Mafia Wars job to the next level?
Job tiers are a group of jobs open to you based on your level. Street Thug is designed for level 1-4. Boss is designed for level 100+. The jobs increase in complexity of setup and in energy required to perform as you move up in the tiers.
There are a set of jobs in each tier to “master.” There is a little blue bar that tracks your progress in mastering the job; you’ll see it gradually fill as you repeat the job over and over. Each time you master a Mafia Wars job, you earn a skill point.
Master all the jobs in the tier, and you’ve earned mastery level one for that tier – you get a title (i.e., Street Thug Don Default) and another precious skill point to allocate to energy or other character stats.
Once you’ve mastered the tier once, you CAN proceed on to master the next tier. You don’t have to do the jobs in any particular order, as long as your level is high enough to access the tier. And you can revisit any tier and job you’ve already mastered to snag more experience, money, and loot from that especially sweet Mafia Wars job here and there.
You really should master tiers for the second time. Master every Mafia Wars job in a given tier again and you’ll get another set of skill points, a new title (i.e., Skilled Street Thug Don Default), and 5% increase in loot for the jobs in the mastered tier. Plus, you can now earn the “skilled” title for any of the higher tiers, which you can’t do until you’ve earned the title in the tiers below.
Give those jobs in that tier a third go round, and you’ll get another skill point, the best title related to that tier (i.e., Master Street Thug Don Default), and 10% increase in loot for any jobs you do in that tier. Plus a 5% experience bonus whenever you do the jobs in this tier in the future!
That’s the basics for doin’ the Mafia Wars job, but maybe you are ready to think a little more deeply about your game. What is the fasted way to level up with jobs? Keep reading to find out!
